Walk-and-Talk Therapy

Walk-and-talk therapy is suitable for most individuals and is a gentle, supportive way to engage in counselling.

Walk-and-talk therapy combines traditional counselling with gentle movement, allowing you to explore your challenges while walking outdoors. Many people find that discussing emotions while moving makes it easier to process thoughts, reduce stress, and gain new perspectives.

Our walk-and-talk therapy sessions take place in scenic Waterloo locations, including Waterloo Park, Victoria Park, and McLennan Park, providing a safe and comfortable environment for in-person therapy outside of a standard office. This approach is ideal for individuals who may find traditional talk therapy challenging or who feel more focused and energized while moving.

Walk-and-talk therapy can support a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. While this method is safe for most individuals, we recommend consulting with your healthcare provider if you have specific medical concerns before beginning any physical activity during therapy.

Book a walk-and-talk therapy session today and experience a unique way to connect with a counsellor in the Waterloo region.
